How to permanently delete your Simple 6 account and personal data.
Delete Your Account in the App
You can permanently delete your Simple 6 account directly from the mobile app in just a few taps:
- Open the Simple 6 app and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and find the Account Settings card.
- Tap Delete My Account (shown in red with a trash icon).
- A confirmation prompt will appear explaining what will be removed. Tap to confirm.
- Your account is deleted right away and you'll be signed out automatically.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove all of the following:
- Your profile and sign-in details (name, email, password)
- Your weight history and weigh-ins
- Your meal history and food log
- Your step and activity data
- Your daily settings and preferences
- Your push notification settings
- Any referrals you've shared or received
- Your onboarding answers and progress
This Cannot Be Undone
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you change your mind later, you'll need to start over with a new account.
If you're not sure, consider signing out of the app instead. You can always come back and pick up where you left off.
Cancel Your Subscription Separately
If you have a paid Simple 6 subscription, please note that deleting your account does NOT cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store), and they have to be cancelled directly through your store account.
To cancel your subscription before deleting your account:
- iPhone or iPad: Open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, then tap Simple 6 and choose Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, tap Simple 6, and choose Cancel subscription.
If you delete your account without cancelling first, you may continue to be charged until the end of your billing period.
Can't Access the App?
If you no longer have access to the Simple 6 app or your device, you can request account deletion by email. Send a message to help@simple6.co with the subject line "Delete my account" and include the email address associated with your Simple 6 account so we can verify your identity.
We'll handle the deletion and confirm by email once it's complete.
